BUT many people – your friends, co-workers, neighbors, and even family members – may not realize just how critical Primary Votes ac- tually are. In many ways, Mid-Term Primary Elections are MORE IMPORTANT than General Elections – even more so than a Presidential Election! If too few people turn out to vote in a Mid-Term Pri- mary Election, the most qualified, most Conservative candidate may not be nominated, which may result in a loss to a left-leaning Democrat in the General Election. Or worse: An underserving Republican. We cannot allow this to happen! Another Little-Known Fact When a particular Party is in power in WDC, the vot- ers for that Party often-times feel comfortable and safe and do not turn out to vote in Mid-Term Elections – especially Primaries. Many voters believe their Party will win – no matter what. Many believe their favorite candidate is a shoe-in just because he/she is the incumbent or is popular among a certain demographic. This cannot be further from the truth! Our Safety is at Risk Mid-Term Primary Elections are CRITICAL to the safety of our nation. The future of our children and grandchildren depend on us TODAY to vote for the most qualified, most Conservative candidates possible. Who we elect will have an impact on our nation for years and decades to come. Choose a candidate to help. Volunteer for them. Block walking and making phones calls really do make a dif- ference! If you have some extra cash, send a few dollars to your favorite candidate. Every $5 donated and every hour offered to walk/call is appreciated and helps tremendously. Get involved TODAY! And remember: bring a friend, co-worker, neighbor, or family member with you when you vote! The people who serve as County Commissioners must have the experience to lead the county with greatness. Furthermore, we believe that all County Commissioners must align with core, Conservative values that will strengthen families, businesses, and communities. Collin County, Texas is one of the fastest-growing counties in the state. Therefore, the next Commissioners to be chosen by the voters will have a huge responsibility to keep that momentum going. The Collin County Commissioners are responsible for a variety of services and duties, such as health programs, public safety, and transportation management. The Collin County Commissioners are charged with keeping residents, visitors, and business owners safe. The Commissioners must support all first responders (local, state, and Federal) and they oversee, improve, and maintain county roads and bridges. Each Commissioner is accountable for a specific precinct, working closely with their constituents. The Commissioners Court must be transparent and open with the public. Residents and business owners should feel welcome to share their concerns. One another area of responsibility for Collin County Commissioners is the financial side of business. Currently, the tax rate is low in the county, which is attracting more and more home and business owners. The Commissioners Court must maintain a positive budget and be fiscally responsible in order to keep the public safe and thriving. Who the voters select as County Commissioners in 2026 will affect everyone in the county for years to come. Do your research. Call the candidates’ campaign offices. Attend meetings. VOTE during Early Voting or on Election Day. And don’t forget to take someone with you when you vote! For More Voting Information Visit TerryLowry.comLet’s Keep Collin Co. Conservative And Strong Guest Editorial by Chris Hill Collin County Judge Friends, my roots run deep in Collin County. Five gen- erations of my family have made their home here. My great- great-grandparents were Collin County farmers in the early 1900s and throughout the Great Depression. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Laura, since 1997, and we have three wonderful children. We are members of Frisco Bible Church and volunteer regularly in the community. I love the people and the communities of our county. It has been my privilege to serve and represent you and your family as Collin County Judge. I will continue to work hard to preserve and protect the blessings and the opportunities of Collin County for future generations of my family and yours. Promises made. Promises kept. As the first person in my family to graduate from college, I earned a Bachelor of Political Science degree from East Texas State University in 1998. I continued my education by earning three masters degrees, including a Master of Accounting and Information Management degree from the University of Texas at Dallas, a Master of Business Administration degree from Webster University, and a Master of Pastoral Leadership degree from Columbia Biblical Seminary. I am a Certified Public Accountant® (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor® (CIA), Chartered Global Management Accountant® (CGMA), and Certified Fraud Examiner® (CFE). During my first campaign for public office, I promised that I would pursue limited government, low taxes, and excellence in every aspect of county government. I kept my promises, standing strong as a consistent, courageous champion for Conservative Texas values. I fought hard for private property rights, limited regulation, low property taxes, and government transparency. In 2020, while other elected officials were busy enforcing lockdowns and making arbitrary lists of essential and non-essential workers, I boldly declared that “Every Texan is essential”. I firmly believe that the liberties and livelihoods of all Texans matter. No lockdowns. No business closures. No mask mandates. No vaccine mandates. My response to COVID-19 was measured, thoughtful, strategic, and effective. The results are clear. Today, Collin County is arguably the healthiest, safest, and strongest county in Texas. We have one of the lowest county property tax rates of all 254 Texas counties and the county leads the way across the State of Texas in eco- nomic opportunity and county government efficiency. If elected as County Judge for four more years, I will continue to keep my promises and help keep Collin County Conservative and Texas Strong I am proud and honored to have already received over 2,400 endorsements for my campaign – but I still need YOUR help! I humbly ask for your support and your vote. You can visit www.chrishill.us for more information about me, to sign up to volunteer, and donate to my campaign.
