His lawless agenda has caused a com- plete and utter crisis on our border, and he’s repeatedly targeted our conservative values and principles with his Big Government mandates and radical policies. Enormously High Stakes The stakes are enormously high. That’s why as your Attorney General, I have fought every day to protect the Lone Star State from Joe Biden’s dangerous actions and rampant government overreach – and I’m proud of our results on your behalf. With your support, my office has earned victories against Joe Biden and his far-Left administration that have made waves across the country – leading the way for the conservative movement. We’ve sued Joe Biden at least 25 times and we’ve won more than 90% of our cases in defense of Texas and our conservative values. No Need to Change the Leader This is no time for an Attorney General who lacks the experience and the reverence for our America-First, con- servative Texas values. To secure our border, we’ve won an injunction against Biden’s freeze on all deportations, a victory that forced Joe Biden to reinstate the successful "Remain-in- Mexico" program securing a major blow against the unconstitutional Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program – and that’s just the beginning. Defending the Heartbeat Bill was a Priority I’m proud of our efforts to successfully defend Texas' heartbeat bill to protect the unborn, a cause that is per- sonal for me. I’ve taken action to protect our children from abuse, fought to protect our Second Amendment rights, and secured crucial victories against Big Tech tyranny and deceitful business practices that have ensured Texans' privacy and security. I’ll never stop fighting for the causes that matter most to conservatives. Standing Against Government Mandates As Joe Biden pushed Big Government mask and vaccine mandates that forced Texans to choose between their jobs and their health, I successfully defended the livelihoods and individual liberties of countless Texans by earning critical victories against these burdensome and blatantly un-American mandates. I’ll always stand to protect our rights against a rogue administration that seeks to limit our freedoms. My family has called Texas home for seven generations. I’m a wife, a mom, a practicing oculoplastic surgeon, a lifelong conservative Republican, and a Texas State Senator currently representing District 24. President Trump Stands With Dawn Buckingham As one of Donald Trump’s earliest supporters in Texas, I am so proud to earn his endorsement in this race for Texas Land Commissioner. President Trump led a grassroots awakening in our nation and singlehandedly reshaped the political landscape like no president before him. Attacked for Opposing Obamacare When President Obama radically transformed our American health care system, I used my platform as a physician to speak out against the dangers of socialized medicine. Not long after, I came under an organized attack from the federal government in the form of numerous, baseless audits into the care I provided my patients. Democrats are well-versed in intimidation tactics, but they didn’t know who they were messing with. I Fight Because of the Radical Left That experience changed me. It showed me the ugly nature of a government as big as ours and how dangerous it can be to regular citizens. The radical left pushed me onto the battlefield, and they have regretted it ever since. Taking Care of Veterans Is My Priority Whether it’s the violent chaos on the Mexican Border, the fight over our Texas history and monuments, the after- math and recovery from major storms, or keeping our promise to care for our veterans, the Land Commissioner is the tip of the spear for the most important fights facing our state. I Will Stand in the Gap As our next Texas Land Commissioner, I’ll use every tool at my disposal to stop the disaster unfolding on our southern border and finish building the Border Wall on all lands controlled by the state of Texas. I’ll preserve Texas monuments like the Alamo and defend our proud Texas history from being “cancelled” by liberal activists. When a natural disaster strikes, I’ll be there every step of the way to help pick up the pieces and get life back to normal as quickly as possible. Will we continue down the path of liberal Democrats and President Joe Biden who want to transition away from cheap and reliable oil and gas? Or will we restore American energy domi- nance? Trump: Net Exporter of Energy Under former President Donald Trump, the United States became a net exporter of energy in 2019 for the first time in 67 years, surpassing Saudi Arabia and Russia to become the largest producer of oil and natural gas in the world. This brought affordable energy and boosted national security. Our country achieved this by empowering domestic oil and gas producers. Energy Security Is National Security Energy security is national security. Nowhere is this demonstrated more clearly than the European Union, which relies on Russia for almost half of its natural gas supply and Chinese renewables for roughly another fifth of their energy. Europe has painted themselves into an energy-dependent corner and jeopardized their national security as a result. It doesn’t have to be this way. Texas Is the Nation’s Largest Producer Texas is the nation’s largest producer of oil and gas, and if it were a country, it would be the third-largest natural gas producer in the world. The Lone Star State is crucial for meeting U.S. energy needs, as well as supplementing our allies’ supplies. More Regulations Not Needed My opponent in the runoff, Sarah Stogner, has advocated for increasing regulations on oil and gas producers, tweeting in June they can “pass the cost along like every other industry.” When pressed further about how it would impact the bottom line of the oil and gas industry, she replied: “How do they do it in Colorado? New Mexico? Other places have more stringent regulations and seem to do just fine.” Companies Investing in Texas I regularly hear from companies that operate in multiple states. A big reason they are investing and expanding operations in Texas and not in Democratic-run states such as New Mexico and Colorado is due to excessive regulations elsewhere. When you over-regulate something, you get less of it. Stogner Believes More Regulations are Needed With the highest gas prices in years and war in Europe, does Stogner really think we need more regulations that will further increase the price at the pump for struggling Texas families? The American consumer is already suffering from record inflation and the last thing we need is higher energy prices “passed along.” Key Endorsements for Wayne Christian I have been endorsed by the Texas Oil & Gas Association, Texas Alliance of Energy Producers and conservative watchdog groups because I have a proven record of opposing frivolous regulations, standing strong for free markets and fighting to ensure low-cost, reliable energy for my constituents. With Joe Biden and Kamala Harris threatening the very future of our state, NOW is the time to send proven conservative leaders to our state capitol to fight back. Terri Leo Wilson: Proven Conservative Up and down the ballot, every candidate running as a Republican will tell you they are conservative, but what have they done to back up their claims? I am the only candidate in this race with a proven conservative record of fighting for the issues important to our community and state. Her Opponent Bankrolled by Democrat My opponent claims to be a conservative, but until announcing his candidacy for this office, his involvement in the conservative movement or Republican Party has been non-existent. He didn’t even bother to vote in Republican Primaries until 2018. Worse yet, he is employed and bankrolled by our former Democrat state representative who had one of the most liberal voting records in the state. Her Opponent is a ‘Never-Trumper’ My opponent is also a “Never-Trumper” who publicly bashed President Trump, calling him "out of his mind.” I am the only candidate that signed the pledge against vaccine mandates, while my opponent publicly supported mask mandates.
